Post and Rail Fencing

Post and rail fencing as the name suggests is an open style fence often seen in rural settings where it tends to blend into the environment. Variations on this theme are almost endless, ranging from a single low knee-rail, to a 1.5m high four rail fence to keep large animals such as horses and other livestock.

Wooden post and rail fencing is very versatile. Traditionally used for agricultural fence and equestrian fences it is now very popular as a border fence or as garden domestic wood fencing. Our post and rail timber fences can come in different styles and cuts and are pressure treated for longevity. Rails can be face-fixed or morticed into the posts. We can also offer cleft chestnut post and rail fencing.
